My initial experience at Westen Dental in Vallejo left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I found myself in a queue of approximately eight people, which already set a discouraging tone. The atmosphere was devoid of warmth and personal connection; instead, the staff seemed more concerned with rushing through procedures than providing genuine care.

After a lengthy 41-minute wait, I was finally ushered in to see the orthodontist. However, the consultation felt incredibly brief and superficial. In just four minutes, she hastily diagnosed me with needing braces urgently, overlooking even basic observations like my temporary tooth, which I had to bring to her attention.

The entire consultation and examination lasted less than ten minutes, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and overlooked. Upon speaking with the financial representative, it became evident that their primary focus was on sales rather than patient well-being. The pressure to commit to financing for braces was palpable, creating an uncomfortable and rushed decision-making process.

Furthermore, the layout of the dentist office was unsettling, with multiple dental chairs placed side by side without any privacy dividers. This lack of privacy added to the sense of being just another number in their profit-driven system.

Overall, if you value quality dental care and personalized attention, I strongly advise against visiting Westen Dental. Their approach prioritizes SALES over patient needs, leaving individuals feeling like nothing more than commodities with wallets.

Greet by Dr back and josie for my financial needs that wasn't cover by dentical insurance. Dr treated me with my fillings and cleaning done . Well come back the rest off my treatment for ext and implants. Wait time wasnt long but very busy . Be ready to wait a bit

What a joke of a place. The lady that took my X-rays will act like she runs the business. Used cuss word to explain the problems my teeth have, Mentioned I needed to walk in tomorrow for my next visit without making an appointment, so it’s a hit or miss if you walk in. I’ve never been to a more unprofessional dental practice in my life. Not even in Mexico. These people should be out a job.

I absolutely hate coming here. They make you wait over an hour or two to take you in. Receptionists always have attitude. They are always “short staffed” which is why you have to wait so long. Everytime I go I be there for a good hour. Longest I spent was almost 6 hours.

I scheduled an appointment a few weeks in advance and two days before the appointment I got a call and text to confirm it also a day before a called to see if can been seen before my appointment time they told me that unfortunately they were full with the scheduling I told them that it was okay that I will stick with my original appointment time 2:00pm next morning I got a called the they sent the doctor to another location and they were going to rescheduled my appointment for the next month ?I just took my day off for nothing please don’t waste your precious time there .

I've been a patient here for braces for a couple of years now. I'm writing this review because of an experience I had with Maribel (one of the temp ortho staff, I believe) on 7/3/24. Out of my many appointments for adjustments, she was the one worker who stood out. Even though I had been a patient there for a while, she explained what was happening and answered my questions patiently. She was also very gentle in doing the adjustments, and I didn't feel at all like I was being rushed. I just wanted to give her a shoutout because she made my experience that much better.
